Le 1er Stafford à remporter la qualification du working trial Anglais

Actualité publiée le 28/10/2009

"BUSBY" (Beraka Hurricane of Copyhold Bex Cdex Udex) has notched up
another milestone in his career by becoming the first ‘C only’ male
Staffordshire Bull Terrier – and certainly the only one of his breed to
have gained his working trial qualifications.
He won his third class B at the Birmingham German Shepherd Dog Association obedience show.

Owner Marney Wells said: “Busby has had a very successful year in
obedience, with a win in class A to start the season, being
consistently placed in B and winning a heat of the anything but collie
(ABC) class which entitles him to enter the final next year.
Apart from the ABC class the majority of the dogs in Busby’s classes
are Border Collies or Working Sheepdogs with the odd Golden Retriever
and GSD thrown in
. There is certainly no favouritism because of his
unusual breed. He wins on the merit of his work which has to be of a
very high standard at this level of competition.

“It just goes to prove that you don’t have to have a Border Collie to
do well in dog-training sports and that a dog as clever as a Stafford
can be trained as long as he thinks it’s worth his while.
“We now have to buckle down to some serious training over the winter to polish up those extra class C exercises for next year.”

Félicitations aux propriétaires de Beraka Hurricane "Busby", ainsi qu'aux éleveurs S & G. Paterson.
Nous souhaitons une longue carrière à "Busby".
